  1. Hi Joshua it is Ari

I really enjoyed reading your post today, I liked learning about the Spanish words, and I find it interesting how Son cubano translates as They are Cuban. I will be looking forward to researching about Spanish words.

  3. Hi Josh
I saw some of your classmates blogs for Spanish translation. I see that most of them said that "son cubano" means a dance, but when I translate the two words separetly, "son=are" and "cubano=cuban". which would you use in the context of Refugee?

  4. Hi Amumda,
I have been wondering about this question and have come to a conclusion that these are both the definition of it. There is both a dance and the phrase 'from Cuba'yet, in this case there is no dance used within the book it self, so my conclusion is that the dance is irrelevant to the book. And by the way, I was wondering what is your thoughts on the topic, which definition would you choose?
Sincerely Dr. Joshua D. B. (On Joseph's account due to digital difficulties).
